President's Message - 2010-2011
Dear Palmetto Families,

Just before we took off for summer break, we received some exciting news here at Palmetto Senior High School. Our Principal, Mr. Howard Weiner, was chosen as the Miami Dade County Principal of the Year! Congratulations Mr. Weiner on such an outstanding honor, the PTSA is proud to have you as our leader.
As our new school year begins our PTSA would like to extend a very warm welcome to our new Palmetto families. It was wonderful to meet many of you at the orientation in May. We truly hope it was an exciting start to the next four years and we hope you had an opportunity to see everything Palmetto has to offer. For our veteran families here at Palmetto, welcome back and thank you for your continued support!
You are now part of a school with a very active PTSA working daily to provide the best for our teachers, staff, students and their families. We encourage you to start getting involved right away. There are numerous opportunities to share your talents and your time while being a part of something very special. These next four years will pass very quickly and I can assure you that you will not regret the time and effort you put in to help making this school a success for all of our families.
Getting involved is easy! Take a moment to find out more about us at www.palmettoptsa.org. We look forward to seeing you at our next PTSA meeting. Below is our schedule for the year.
Don't miss a moment of this!
